Quentin Geczy
Quentin Géczy is a Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology (MCDB) and Economics graduate from Yale and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Sydney. His studies have equipped him with a broad range of hard and soft skills essential for any research team. Courses like Molecular Hallmarks of Cancer and Molecular Physiology deepened his understanding of complex biological systems, enhanced his ability to analyze scientific literature, and strengthened his critical thinking. Quentin’s work in various labs, including Organic Chemistry, Neurobiology, and Anatomy, has sharpened his problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
In addition to his scientific studies, his Economics major provided him with strong analytical skills, particularly in managing large datasets and solving complex qualitative and quantitative problems. Beyond academics, Quentin was a varsity rower at both his secondary school and Yale, where the sport instilled in him key values like resilience, teamwork, critical decision-making, and time management, which he carries into his professional and academic pursuits.
